He was president for six consecutive periods of the College of Accountants and Economists of Uruguay, president of the Inter-American Accounting Association, and is currently president of the Commitee of Integration of Europe-America of Latin Public Accountants (CILEA), which joins together 27 Latin countries of America and Europe. Mr. Montaldo is a member of the Spanish Accounting and Administration Association, of the Uruguayan Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and of the College of Accountants and Economists of Uruguay. In 2007 he was awared "Benemeritus CPA of the Americas". With 50 years in the local and international market, Montaldo & Asociados has vast experience advising companies of all industries including off-shore banking, insurance, construction, publishing, agriculture , port services, exchange bureaus, information technology, import and distribution , and public transport services among many others.
